Attempted Break-In at Brookhaven GOP Headquarters in Pre-Dawn Hours of Election Day

MEDFORD, NY – An attempted break-in occurred at Brookhaven Town Republican Headquarters in the pre-dawn hours of Election Day.  Republican Chairman Jesse Garcia has filed a report with the Suffolk County Police, a complete investigation is underway including a review of video surveillance footage.

“Clearly, whoever did this knows that the key to today’s winning ticket is behind this door,” said Chairman Garcia.  “The timing and targeting of this location of this make it clear that this was not a random occurrence or someone seeking physical valuables.  To me, this looks like a ‘Bungled Blue Burglary.’ When the guilty parties are found from the evidence we are providing, we will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.”
